It wasn’t the maddest of Marches.

We haven’t seen many upsets in this year’s NCAA Tournaments, on either the men’s or the women’s side. But we’ve still seen plenty of dramatic moments, unlikely comebacks and impressive — sometimes record-setting — performances.

The women’s Final Four begins Friday night in Tampa, Florida, and the men’s semifinals are Saturday in San Antonio.

As the college basketball season nears its exciting conclusion, we look back at the photos that have defined this year’s tournaments.

UConn players celebrate after their Elite Eight win over USC on March 31. The Huskies, seeking their 12th national championship, have only missed one Final Four since 2008.
